To get under way in the engaging art of bonsai gardening, you will need some basic gardening skills, some elementary tools as well as supplies, a healthy dose of common sense and a touch of artistic flair.

If you have experienced growing some plants in pots already - as well as kept them alive, well and attractive, then you possess the necessary skills for bonsai gardening. Leaving to one side the actual techniques for keeping the plant compact, that is basically it!

Eventually you will be the one others seek tips on growing bonsai plants.
